And the Emmy results are in! Well, your Emmy results that is.

In anticipation of the Emmys on Aug. 25, we asked fans which shows and actors would get their vote in some of the most contentious categories. (Don’t worry, we focused on real categories, not the wacky ones.)

“Whenever a committee or an academy gathers to determine the results of an awards show, we at People’s Choice believe the fan’s voice should also be heard,” said President of People’s Choice, Fred Nelson. “The fans have spoken, and we’re so happy to have offered this experience for them to express their voices where they otherwise wouldn’t have had the chance.”

From Outstanding Drama Series to Outstanding  Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, fans had to make some difficult decisions based on the Academy’s nominee pool.

So, who do they think most deserves a golden statuette this year?

Fans want to see repeat wins for a handful of 2013 Emmy winners including Breaking Bad for Outstanding Drama Series, The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, The Voice for Outstanding Reality-Competition Series, and Downton Abbey’s Michele Dockery for Outstanding Lead Actress in A Drama Series.

Fans also want to see Jimmy Fallon take the title of Outstanding Variety Series from Stephen Colbert, who won last year for The Colbert Report.
