Actress, singer, and fashion designer Jennifer Lopez is about to add one more title to her ever-expanding resume: casting director.
The “First Love” singer recently revealed whom she would choose to star in a biopic of her life. “I would want Selena Gomez to play me in a movie. She is a cutie,” Lopez told Newsday.
J-Lo, who coincidentally starred in the 1997 biographical musical drama Selena, may be in luck considering that Gomez recently told Teen Vogue that acting is something she would “like to take on more seriously.”
The idea of a Jennifer Lopez biopic starring Selena Gomez made us think: Who would we cast to portray some of Hollywood’s biggest stars if they received the biopic treatment?
Let’s find out!
1. George Clooney
Biopic title: Curious George: From Blue Collar to Shot Caller
Who should play him?
Anyone who dares to accept the role of George Clooney needs to exude loads of charm and grace. Which actor has the debonair style and suave disposition to pull off such a difficult feat?
Joseph Gordon-Levitt of course! Was there ever really any doubt?
2. Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie
Biopic title: Mr. and Mrs. Pitt
Who should play them?
Nobody can argue that Pitt and Jolie are accomplished actors and noted humanitarians, so the question becomes: How do you make their biopic interesting? By adding humor, of course!
Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam and former SNL star Abby Elliott have already proven they can adeptly mimic the world renown duo, so why not find out if it transcends onto the big screen?
3. Jennifer Lawrence
Biopic title: Jennifer Lawrence: From Hunger Games to Hollywood Reality
Who should play her?
A biopic of a 23-year-old? Sure! Why not? Since Jennifer Lawrence is well-known for zigzing when the rest of Hollywood is zagging, the actress who portrays her needs to be as unconventional as she is talented. Who are thinking of?
Fellow Hollywood zagger Shailene Woodley! Woodley has already picked up career advice from Lawrence, so playing her in a movie seems like the natural next step.
4. Sandra Bullock
Biopic title: Sandra Bullock: A Force of Nature
Who should play her?
Let’s see, beautiful, affable, and universally adored. Who does that sound like to you?
Emma Stone, of course. While were on the subject, can we please have an Emma Stone/Sandra Bullock movie? These two would make phenomenal co-stars!
