There is definitely a Voice audition in our future!

Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams will join Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches for season seven of The Voice. The No Doubt frontwoman confirmed the news via her Instagram on Tuesday.

In between restraining our enthusiasm and perfecting our best rendition of “Happy,” we recently caught up with the current crop of Voice contestants to see what they thought of the power duo joining the show next fall.

“Let me see, how do I talk about Pharrell coming to The Voice?” asked T.J. Wilkins, a Los Angeles native who was eliminated during a live eliminations show in April. “Awesome!”

Contestant Tess Boyer had a similar sentiment:

“That’s awesome for whoever tries out for season seven,” Boyer said. “I’m slightly jealous.” So are we, Tess!

Watch the current group of Voice contestants sound off on the new coaches below (and keep an eye out for a very jealous Adam Levine)!
