Parks and Recreation withdrawal has officially set in. While the prospect of a Parks and Rec-less summer may be enough to elicit a bevy of April Ludgate inspired eye rolls, we may have just the thing to quench your comedy thirst.

People’s Choice recently caught up with former Parks and Recreation writer Katie Dippold and current Parks and Rec star Billy Eichner to discover their thoughts on the stunning season finale that resulted in the sitcom jumping ahead three years.

While Eichner, who plays Parks and Rec employee Craig Middlebrooks, said the season-ending twist was “bold,” former writer Dippold weighed in on what it was like to watch the episode as a fan.
