Taylor Swift has learned a thing or two about how to navigate the game of love from her plethora of highly publicized romantic relationships. The “All Too Well” songstress, who’s been known to pen lyrics about her high-profile dalliances, opened up about a few of her best kept relationship secrets in the March issue of Glamour magazine.
On the top Swift’s list? Yelling in a relationship is a definite no-no. “Silence speaks so much louder than screaming tantrums, ” Swift says. “Never give anyone an excuse to say that you’re crazy.”
Swift also discusses the importance of giving your potential partner the benefit of the doubt. “I think everyone should approach relationships from the perspective of playing it straight and giving someone the benefit of the doubt. Until he establishes that this is a game. And if it’s a game, you need to win. The best thing to do is just walk away from the table.”
“And if it’s a game, you need to win.”
Something tells us Swift would make an ultra-competitive Monopoly opponent.
