Emotions were high as Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson separately visited the crash site of their fallen friend. Gibson could not hold back his tears on Sunday as he paid his respects, while Diesel visited the site on Monday and thanked the mourners in attendance for their support. Walker, 40, was killed in a fatal car crash on Nov. 30 in Southern California.

In addition to thanking Walker’s fans, Diesel also posted a tribute to the late actor on his Facebook page that included the Thomas Cambell quote, “To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die.”

Diesel added, “Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now… and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us… on me… I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were… on and off screen.”

“Brian” being a probable reference to Walker’s Fast & Furious character Brian O’Conner.

Along with his statement, Diesel also honored his former co-star by changing his cover photo to a picture of him and Walker (along with Fast & Furious co-stars Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez) from the MTV Movie Awards.
