What a poor show. I had to listen to bad singing and pooly written jokes delivered by the host. Many of the major awards were not televised. I ONLY watched to see how Supernatural would do, and it did well…but I didn’t get to see it because Favirote Network Drama was not considered important!! Grrr
I usually like Queen Latifa alot – this is definitely not her stage – she was really quite terrible. I won’t watch again if she is the host.
I agree with many of you that the show was terrible and whomever dressed QL needs to be shot. Those dresser were much too tight and it looked like she was poured into them. However, the beating the Twilight trio – especially Rob and Kristen have received on the site is so uncalled for. They have proven themselves as worthy actors both within the Twilight Saga movies and in other movies too. They are the epitome of professionalism in their work ethic – and for those people who thought they were ‘high’ – where did that peice of knowledge come from? They had been filming ALL DAY on the other side of the continent, jumped on a plane, hit another time zone three hours earlier, and face a hostile host. And you wonder why Kristen is shy? She needed help getting up those steps because her shoes had 5 – 6″ heels. How well do you manage in those? Their eyes showed fatigue – as would anyone else’s.
Sorry for my long commentary but this type of rubbish makes me see red. BTW – I’m neither a teenager nor the mother of one. I am 60 years old with a master’s degree – so there goes half your theories out the window!!!!
I tried to find the show @8:00pm, then when I didn’t find it I thought I had the wrong wednesday, so when later @around 9:00something I stumbled upon it I was saddened to have missed the red carpet banter…if there was any. I can’t judge Miss. Latifah, She was trying to create some comedic banter….not really her fortay. But she did the best she could. I do wish these award shows would not force MC’s who are not comedians to try stand up at our expense. I’ve been seeing alot of that lately on various award shows. BUT what the heck! WE the people, posting on this sight and voting were NOT named at ALL. I was waiting all night for someone to announce, “well according to sarah, ellie, demi, karen, janice and so on…..SO and SO is the Best whatever!” My days of disappointment watching Romper Room waiting for Ms. MaryAnn to see me in her magic mirror “I see Sandy, and Danny, and Mary…..” came rushing back!!
Queen Latifah was HORRIBLE. She wasted so much time with mindless banter, and her endless preening in front of the camera was too much. Yes, Latifah, you look great. Yes, Latifah, you look sexy. There, are you happy?? And even worse, a ton of awards were not even televised. WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?? If the 2012 show is going to stick to a 2-hour slot, then get a host who will introduce the presenters, period. What a hoax to waste time voting and then not be able to see all the presentations.
Well Queen Latifa should be removed of her size 52 size crown after that boring show! She was half the show trying to fill time with BSHT! Even Neil Patrick Harris put on the spot gave her a B-, half way through tryin gto be NICE! HO HO HORRENDOUS! LOl

And don’t put all the winners in the FRONT ROW ALL NITE YOU WACKOS!!! Like DA! no element of surprise.. Pathetic display. Rather watch the Tony Awards.. LOL
I, too, though the show was disappointing. Queen Latifa
is a real pro…but if you hire her…you need to buy some material as well. There was something sadly slap dash about the whole show. It had the right people but not quite the right attitude. It is a shame. It is a very nice award…and both it and its audience deserve something that looks like it might have been planned.
I am optimistic about NEXT YEAR….though some people call me a fool.
Seiena Gomez was very pretty…but even with a microphone her voice and diction were so soft…I thought she was just humming.

It was a terrible show. The sound for the songs was lousy and the presentations, and Queen Latifah, were really bad.
wow tough crowd! Queen Latifah had to work a stuffy audience. I thought the Twilight trio was just full of themselves. These people find fame & lose their sense of humors. Maybe they all had on too much make-up and were afraid if they laughed their faces would crack, mascara might run. The Queen looked amazing especially the last gown – wow! The actors don’t give a shit about their fans anyway – Oscars,Grammy’s,Emmy’s,money,fame, etc.. that’s all they really care about.
Please dethrone The Queen next year! I can’t take the screaming! I was embarrassed for everyone there!
I watched the show for 8 minutes. It was awful. I felt sorry for Queen Latifah it was not her fault. I think as a result of last night’s show the Peoples Choice Awards franchise is permanently damaged a lot of people are not going to watch this show next year.
That was the most awful crap i have ever seen on tv.. the Queen latifah hosting what were they thinking… what was ricki lake on vaca… she was terrible.. especially when she was in the audience with the twilight stars.. hey queen latifah your a musician not a comedian so dont try hahaha… and the winner for worst ever tv award show gopes to…. the people choice awards… voted on by the people.. Queen Latifah is not a comedian.
It is all about me – not the show – or cast or directors that get me to do it right.
Someone should really feed some of those atrocity cases.
Sitting in the front row high is not flattering – especially in a short dress.
Obvious over use of gay actors is not attractive.
What the heck is with the short microphone – most of those award winners looked like they were trying out for the hunchback…….

I expected better out of this awards show and to be truthful, I didn’t think Queen Latifah was funny at all. Betty White would have done a better job as host.
wow, that was painful to watch. CBS and PCA should issue an apology to all who attended and all who watched.
the only success this lame, disorganized, unprofessional show had was to embarass – winners, viewers, presenters alike!
it wasn’t who won that was a travesty. we all know it is a vote by numbers show. it was the show itself. lame hosting, writing, musical talent. far too much commercialism. too many categories. played to the lowest/dumbest of the viewing public.
i actually feel sorry for the young twilight actors. they were clearly embarassed to be there, too.
after last night the only decent thing to do is to take this show off the air. there is no recovery after last night. none at all.
This had to be the worst awards show I have ever seen. Does the talent that wins these awards really think it’s the most important, like they all alluded to? Because it comes from the fans? They put alot of importance in what some teenagers think. And who was responsible for dressing Queen Latifah, who by the way, was terrible? Her gowns were horrid, especially the pink one. Was anybody paying attention to the way she looked in that? I was embarrassed for her. Actually, the overall fashions on the entire evenning were just plain ugly. Why wear a tux without a tie? They looked like slobs.

This was one of the WORST award shows I have sat through. They skipped over a good number of awards, didn’t even mention them at all. AWFUL!

THE PROBLEM IS WE ARE THE ONES PAYING FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT, AND CABLE, MOVIES, MAGAZINES, (THAT ARE AS BORING AS WATCHING WHITE PAINT DRY ON A WALL)! Twillight, grown ups? this is a horrible confirmation of the publics terrible taste in everything. Twillight is just badly made soap opera rubbish, f**king terrible stuff, and it’s dreary and boreing as hell, on top of that bella is one of the worst heriones ever, she’s a wierd, twitchy, social retard who cant do any thing for herself, shes just a hatefull character. Ugh.. I was actually at the show and it was a complete waste of time and money. Hardly anyone was there and those that were left right after they got their awards..after that you’re just looking at a bunch of seat fillers who only add to the pathetic unprofessional atmosphere. They’re shoving trying to take every seat as close to the front as possible like any fangirl off the street and then their competing with the attendees who f-ing RUSH the actors at every intermission. No wonder they don’t stay! Aside from a few worthwhile comments from NPH and Conan O’brien the whole event was a pitiful sight.
Great end to a horrible show…. A waist of my time. Celebrating hoes, poor skits, and fashion disaster…. What has happened to good television. This has given my family and a I a horrible taste for celebrating what we waist our hard earned money on. The producer of this show should really consider taking a leep of faith like the ratings have done on this show. Poor audio and horrible speaking of not only the awarde but also the presenter. I a seriously considering if I should even waist my time watching the Grammy’s. A public apology is due for this massacre of public entertainment.

By many of the winners, it’s obvious that all ages are not represented in the voting. It would be nice to see more advertizing so that many more people could vote. BTW Fringe is a really good scifi drama.

I would suggest that the number of categories be reduced so that the awards given could actually fit into the time slot allotted next year. A lot less nonsensical byplay would help, too.
The People’s Choice awards were terrible! The new format… a disaster. Appeared very unorganized, hap-hazard, extremely unrehearsed. Also more interested in selling products than in recognizing all the people’s choices. I felt sorry for Queen Latifah being put in the position of trying to keep things rolling, & interesting…it was an impossible job! If this is what the award shows are coming to I will not be watching any of them. All very amateurish. Very disappointed!!

WORST AWARD SHOW IN HISTORY. It was so inane, so stupid, so poorly written – I was literally cringing and squirming in embarrasment for everyone involved.
I’m a huge QL fan but she really tanked – the show was so bad to begin with she had little to work with, but her ad libs were beyond awful. I really felt sorry for her – she completely embarrassed herself. The show’s writers should be flogged too. It was written as though we have the intelligence level of 7th graders and can only comprehend simple sentences. Their pathetic attempts at humor failed in every way.
And speaking of intelligence, most of the winners, Kristen Stewart and the Kardashians in particular, are one step above amoeba’s. They need to go back to school and get a real education. If they’re too lazy to do that then they should at least hire a speech coach or have someone drill some courtesy and common sense into them. Kristen Stewart barely remembered to thank the fans, the people who got her there.
This really was a complete waste of time – it would take a very convincing argument to persuade me to watch it ever again.
I would seriously bet there are many, many people out there who could do a much better job producing the People’s Choice Awards and yes, I am one of them.

This show is like a high school yearbook section about popular kids… The real talent is mostly overlooked. CBS should stop broadcasting this show…move it to cable.

I like the show, but as for the “Favorite TV CHEF” I do not think Rachael Ray is the best chef… I figure at least Gordon Ramsey would be the best esp 4 star chef and has perfect to have the best serve food. I seen Rachael Ray few shows of cooking .. most 12 year old could cook the same as a Rachael Ray…be real people… The dishes being serve on Master Chef or Hell’s Kitchen as least very interesting how they prepare excellent foods on the show

What a huge pile of commercial crap. I am 46 yrs old this year. . . I feel bad for you guys under 20. This is not what the Peoples’ was about — every minute something to sell — with a half a__’d host. Gone is “Creativity”, “Talent” and “Taste”. If Prince ever even showed up for a 30 second riff you would all get the feeling of what it is to actually watch something. I feel bad for you my generation under me. . .

Whose idea was it to announce the winner of one category and then adding,” oh by the way”, the show they were in won too???? Everyone involved with this production should be fired.

I came on this web site to see if I’d lost my mind. Everything sucked and I feel sorry for everyone who attended. Depp and that warewolf dude, Taylor Swift, and Katy Perry were ok, but nothing… could have saved that train wreck.

I agree this year’s show was really bad. The only thing I think Queen Latifah did good was when she focused the cameras on the twilight stars showing how high and messed up they were. Hopefully their fans will realize there is better people to be a fan of who are good for and to their fans.
CBS should let someone else do the awards next year. I would hope that the people that were responseable for the show check themselfs into rehad.They surely are not of sound mind.

Celebrating the fact this is over….!! Gotta tell you this was a bad show. QL yelling to get people excited and stirred up? Winners bending over looking foolish using the mic that will not raise or lower? Some winners look like…..they are on something…..can’t even speak? What was with all the built in infomercials? Bags of goodies from I can’t remember…gift cards for can’t remember who….phones instead of sealed envelopes?
I usually love the People’s Choice Awards except this year. I really felt like the actors where poking fun at the fans for being fans – it was not flattering.
I really love Queen Latifah. She was funny and she did her best. She was only doing what she was told. The producers and the setup was to blame, NOT Queen Latifah. She was trying to brighten it up by making jokes & stuff. The only thing I couldn’t stand were those Twilight people. Nobody wants to watch you act all embarrassed in front of the camera at an awards show. What the hell are you there for in the first place if you can’t even acknowledge your fans or other cast members. I was very disappointed to see that Toy Story 3 did not win. I am 19 years old and adored this movie. It was a movie for all ages, and it deserved to win. Not some teen enrobed 15 minutes of fame movie. Toy Story is a classic that should have been recognized.
I am very disappointed in the setup & production of this show. Too much advertisements & stalling. Give every nominee & winner a chance in the spotlight for once.

I wanted to see Jackie Chan, and the other nominees winners of the catergories that wasn’t shown on the Show. I wanted to see them give the acceptance speech.

It was sooo plain and boring. Poor Queen Latifah. None of her jokes were funny and most of the nominees that I wanted to win was replaced with idiots like conan o’brian. I thought either oprah or ellen would win. The only thing I was happy about was when the Twilight Saga: Eclipse won favorite movie. But other than that, i think it was the worst award show. But Latifah was ok, just don’t joke around next time.

this show was the absolute worst, besides Johnny Depp and Twilight winning, I wasted my time. they didn’t even show half of categories that was voted on because they took WAY too many breaks. and Lie To Me winning,WTF that is a fairly new show and should not have been in the category it was in. it should have been in the new drama category. I only watched to see favorite male actor, rock band, crime drama, and competition show and a few others, and I think it’s ridiculous that only a certain few were chosen to show on tv. what ever happened to the good days where it was more awards and less advertisement??????????
This was the WORST AWARD SHOW OF THE YEAR. First of all they did not show Best Drama, Best Actor, Favorite TV Doctor, Crime fighter, etc. I would have loved to have seen Hugh Laurie win and House recieve the award for best show. I wasted 2 hours watching this crap of an award show that did not do service to the people. This is my opionin, next year quit having the host talk so much and add an extra hour to the show, after all the Oscars and other award shows get three hours, to give ALL the categories a chance to shine on the stage. After all we put them there we deserve to see the outcome off ALL the winners. The producers should give themselves a foot up there butt for this. I missed my Hugh Laurie on stage, and I am not happy about it.

I am so upset that I losy two hours of my life watching the most awful award show in history…I was embarrassed for poor Queen L because she had to speak the terrible writing the comedy was painful and if you are going to ASK US FANS TO VOTE ON SOMETHING THEN SHOW US WHO WON!!! Now you tell me how I am going to get back the wasted two hours of time I could have been watching my grandmother wash her dentures.

I’m so with you….wtf happened to all the others, I mean I voted and I was waiting so bad to see who won!!! you guys really sucked this year!! They said they had the most votes this year and yet they don even show our votes and we have to see stupid jokes and singing from queen Latifah!!
Where the heck is the list of the other award winners. It’s sad they can’t do more of them on the show, but shouldn’t we at least be able to find them on the website???
