Dancing With The Stars: First To Go?

Happy Tuesday. Did you watch DWTS last night? We’ll get to that in a moment. But now for some news bits. First up, we told you it was a big weekend for the kids, and this week in new DVD’s expect to see another small fry fave (and Kids’ Choice Award-winner) flying off the shelves: Alvin and the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel. It’s here and it’s going to be very popular so you might want to plan ahead. And no, you will NEVER get the Chipmunks’ ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’ out of your head. Ever. Speaking of mammoth hit songs that took the country by storm – and the people who sang them,  Ricky Martin has announced that yep, he’s gay. The wildly successful singer & father of twin boys told fans on his site that he is both proud and very fortunate.  So now we turn our attention to “Dancing With The Stars”. Apparently all is not so cool backstage. The celebrities, we’re told, are becoming restless/nervous/anxiety-ridden and occasionally outwardly hostile to their partners and to one another (Translation: Just another ordinary day in Hollywood).  BUT, tonight is the first elimination round so everybody’s  going to have  an opinion about who should hang up their Capezios and set their sights on another buzz-generating /career-resuscitating reality show.  I think it’s pretty safe to say that tonight the pink slip won’t go to Erin Andrews , Pamela Anderson, Evan Lysacek,  Niecy Nash or Nicole Scherzinger (and she may never get one). That said, we’re tossing 4 stars out today for your consideration. Voice your choice in today’s featured poll and let us know which one (if any) of these DWTS Stars will get sent home tonight:

1)    Shannen Doherty

2)    Buzz Aldrin

3)    Aiden Turner

4)    Kate Gosselin

  1. Nice post. I be taught one thing tougher on totally different blogs everyday. It’ll all the time be stimulating to read content from other writers and observe slightly something from their store. I’d choose to use some with the content material on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll offer you a hyperlink on your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Awesome, ok if i link back to you?

  3. I am sorry to hear that Shannon went first I was hoping Buzz would He had no dance aptitude at all and frankly I don’t know why any 70 or 80 year old would subject their rundown bodies to that torture. That show is about dance
not icon status Shannon’s dancing was pretty sufficient especially the first time out Kate should have went before her, much weaker steps and a bigger attitude although, if she was just expressing her opinion to Tony then he shouldn’t have threatened to quit, that was very unproffesional The contestants should let the pros know if they are struggling as long as they continue on and get it right later Shannon I will miss you being on there

i think that kate should go home. the things that she put tony through! i feel sorry for john he must have been living a nightmare with her. tony is tough and the fact he was going to quit proved to me that john wasn’t necessarily in the wrong with his and kates problems.

Nicole should hit the road. It’s totally unfair that she compete because she has dancing experience and she’s good at it. I thought the show was based on amateur celebrities striving on improvement. The others don’t come close to Nicole’s dancing, so how can that be fair?
