Your Favorite Glenn Close Role?

Back from the weekend…hope yours was great. See any good TV and/or movies? Did you see the ‘Hope For Haiti Telethon’ raised $58 million dollars (and counting)? Pretty impressive. The new single from the benefit’s CD, “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)” from Jay Z, Rihanna, Bono and The Edge is on  iTunes and it’s expected to do VERY well indeed. In not-so-charitable news…we won’t be addressing the Brad and Angelina breakup rumors until we have some facts (although  you may not care one bit anyway). Also possibly yawn-worthy:James Cameron’s  Avatar blew away the competition for the sixth straight weekend and now has $550 million in the bank (that’s just on our soil; worldwide, the blue cats have brought in almost $2 billion). What is interesting is that The Hurt Locker (a war film with apparently ZERO bad reviews that keeps getting nominated for big awards) was directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who actually used to be  Mrs. James Cameron. The Sundance Film Festival is happening this very minute in Park City, Utah  and the movie that’s got everyone talking is The Runaways, based on the 1970’s glam/punk girl band led by Joan Jett. Playing the film’s lead (I-Love-Rock-N-) role? Kristen Stewart. Dakota Fanning also stars, and given the hype it’ll probably be hitting a theatre near all of us P.D.Q. At Saturday’s SAG Awards, winner Drew Barrymore again “forgot” to mention her are-they-or-aren’t-they Mac Commercial Guy BF Justin Long. But he’s  probably okay with it by now. In TV news, the third season of “Damages” kicks off tonight. If you haven’t seen the show, all you need to know is that Glenn Close stars as a beyond-ruthless lawyer. (Totally watchable, I was squeamish at first but tuned in and got just a little bit hooked). With this in mind, let’s take a look at Ms. Close, who has a huge body of work in both film and TV. Not counting “Damages” or her star turn in 101 Dalmatians, voice your choice in today’s featured poll and let us know which one of these Glenn Close roles is your favorite:

1)    Fatal Attraction

2)    Dangerous Liaisons

3)    The Shield

4)    Sarah, Plain & Tall
