Did any of the winners shock you? What was the most surprising moment? You probably hoped for more time for the show because you wanted more categories included in the live stuff, but there’s only so much they can broadcast, right? (maybe next year it should be from 9 pm til midnight!) I know that somebody did a pretty kickass job including as much as they did in a teensy little 2-hour time frame…I feel like the Queen and Robert Pattinson moment was really really funny (and maybe I did like Twilight, a lot) And can we talk about the Glee cast? Still, all personal Twi-bias aside, I was wildly impressed with what got included. And just wait til you see what’s coming up…

I am shocked that Beyonce didn’t win! But I am thrilled that Mariah WON! It’s about time, yeah she may seem a little wierd at times but she has a voice that won’t quit! I am so happy for her, this was long coming! Yay Mariah! She deserved it 100%! Though Mary J. Blige was GREAT, they needed better performances!
I was only shocked when Keith won Male Artist since I didn’t know he was so popular. Other than that the winners were pretty predictable. Twilight dominates and Taylor beats Beyonce. What a surprise. :/

I don’t watch much tv because of it. My 2 soaps in the afternoons(OLTL & GH),Monday nights its Make It Or Break It & Castle. Tuesday nights its NCIS & NCIS:LA. Other than those shows,when there’s nothing half decent on I watch the Disney Channel or the NCIS Marathons on USA Network. TV is just not what it used to be. These past few years I have been very disappointed in all award shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and one more thing nxt time they do this thing they need to announce all the the catagories and they should have accutaly announced the nominies for best tv drama so ncis can get a little respect that it deserves even thought it deserves a world of respect i may not be watchin the peoples choice awards nxt year
ok i have to say i was really excited about this award show but i was honestly dissapointed. the only things i was happy about was that ellen won best talk show and big bang theory won comedy i was so dissapointed that ncis lost for best tv drama i mean come on its the number 1 show on tv with 21 million a week or more. house really and i was kinda mad witht he way they anounced that house won i didnt even notice it till that major annoying british dude said thanks for that one i really wish ncis would have won i demand a recount!
I didn’t get to watch the whole show but can someone tell me if Twilight was even awarded and shown on air? I know they won a lot of awards but I don’t remember seeing anything or seeing any of them accept the awards? I only remember seeing Taylor Lautner. They really should cut out all the spoofs and unnecessary stuff they showed on tv and make more time for actual awards to be accepted!
For all you people who are complaining about the show…you should have voted and then you would have your say as to what happened. In fact that’s a good idea for the show next year. You shouldn’t stop watching just cause you didn’t get what you wanted…. speak up and be heard.

Well, if you get rid of the Paranormal and the Twilight spoofs, you would have had plenty of time to add in the catagories that you totally left out, like best rock band. That was why I watched the show, was to see them win, and I totally wasted my night, and other than just a note under winners that Paramore won, you have no video highlight or anything on your website to acknowledge that they won. Whats the point of giving an award if you dont include them in the show with everybody else that won.
I was really surprised Sandra Bullock won favorite Movie Actress. I’m not saying I don’t like her I just think some of the other ladies are more memoriable then her performance in The Proposal. Jennifer Aniston had my vote.
It’s Awesome that Supernatural won, I just wish they had cut one or two of the bad skits so we could have seen it.
Hi guys ! So I’m french and I woke up a 3am to watch People Choice Awards, for the first time. Well… I couldn’t believe it was finished I was like “did I miss something ?! Was I supposed to wake up a 2am ?!! Cause I didn’t see everything…” and then I saw all your comments and realize that they just dont talk about all the categories. So Im disappointed :/
So I wanted to know, is it like that every year ?? They’ve never shown ALL the categories ??
so…I’m really confused about the wins tonight. how can Twilight beat out amazing movies like Star Trek and Harry Potter? so, they have a few pretty faces–big deal! I’ll admit I used to be into Twilight, but then all this hype started and it annoyed me. hey, it’s a good series, but it’s not THAT good. definitely not good enough to take all those wins. and really, you can’t get a better on-screen team than Harry, Ron and Hermione.
and what is this, Miley Cyrus winning Breakout Female Actress? Come on, people! What about Zoe Saldana? okay, I love Taylor Swift, but there were other artists in that category who should have won.

What happened to best breakout artist award? My family and friends spent time voting and watching the show to see adam lambert hopefully win and there was no mention of who even won. I like queen latifah, but the writing was terrible and time wasted on piazza and a boring beauty makeover ,when we could have seen adam was a very poor choice. Im wondering if this is a deliberate snub because of his ama performance. Hes addressed those issues on several tv shows and its time to move on, if that was your motivation to exclude his category. Thought this was the peoples choice award. If so, his many fans are extremely disappointed and question your integrity.

WHY were we all encouraged to vote, why all the hype and then nearly HALF of the categories were never even presented, never even MENTIONED? Maybe without the drab musical intro, the dreadful movie spoofs, that insulted our intelligence, and the over pandering to DiGiorno Pizza (a pizza delivery during the awards show? SERIOUSLY – Give US a BREAK) there would have been enough time to see the outcome of all of our voting.
It was tacky enough when Favorite TV Drama, and TV Drama Actor were slammed together to make one quick Hugh Laurie/HOUSE package, but it degraded to the point of envelopes being torn opened without nominees being announced, and let’s NOT forget all those winners in categories that NEVER even got mentioned. HORRIBLE.
MANY of tonight’s viewers were the very PEOPLE who voted for their favorite artists, again and again, these past weeks, even months, but there were also viewers who, sad to say, tuned in for entertainment, and we were all let down.
PLEASE, if there IS a NEXT time, after this travesty, get some staff to keep track of Mariah Carey’s anti-anxiety meds, give Gregg Grunberg a CHILL pill instead of the BITTER PILL he was grinding on, remind Rascal Flatts that they are singers and NOT comedians, and for ALL our sake, insist that George Lopez stick to a script instead of that sexist tripe he pounded away at.
Horrible, HORRIBLE show. You OWE the ignored winners AND THE PEOPLE a HUGE appology. Place THIS show on the cancellation list.

I have to say, I am with everyone else here. I spent my time voting and then they don’t even air half of the winners!?? What then is the point of watching? I don’t think I was suprised by anything tonight, nor did I find any of the skits funny at all. I must say that this year’s award show was a huge let-down.

This WAS a lame show – we watched the whole show and didn’t even see the music categories we wanted to see. I had to go online to find out what the heck happened. My husband could have watched his basketball game instead.
And what was Lady Gaga doing in the breakout music artist category anyway? She’s been around for awhile. She even gave Adam Lambert a song for his CD, so how can she be considered new? Break out artists should truly be new.
And is Cloris Leachman (love her) going to be banned from other shows now after simulating a threesome in bed during primetime? I actually thought the skit was a little funny until I remembered that it was primetime (really primetime, and not nearly 11p) and remembered all the hoopla from the AMA awards.

I was very sorry that Queen Latifah seemed to be making fun of Rob Pattinson in the little skit of New Moon. That actually bothered me. I loved his performance as Edward Cullen and watched hoping he would be at the awards and that he would win. He is certainly my People’s Choice. It seems like the only ones who attend the People’s Choice Awards are the winners, so obviously they know before coming. It takes away from the program that you already know who is going to win by who is sitting in the first row or two of the theater.
I tell you what I’ll be shocked about tomorrow, if any of the idiots running this show still has a job! HORRIBLE show! Shameless plugs, frozen pizza, not airing categories, horrible writing (I don’t think I laughed or smiled once), crest white strips??? I had to FORCE myself to sit through it hoping they’d air the categories I wanted to see and then nothing!! And God damnit, screen these f-ing people before you let them in the door- Mariah Carey was CLEARLY under the influence of something illegal or otherwise. Not only will I NEVER watch this show again, I will purposely NEVER buy DiGiorno pizza or any other ridiculously plugged product on this show. UGH! I’m with the others…I think it sucks that not all categories were announced. You could have left out those lame ass skits and filled it with what we voted on. I am totally shocked that NCIS and Mark Harmon did not win. Every week NCIS beats out all other shows across all non-cable channels in the ratings; and yet the show did not win. I was also disappointed in the way Best Drama was announced; just mixed in with Best Actor in a Drama; at first I thought it was a joke. Then towards the end of the show they didn’t even bother to announce the nominees.
