Diamonds & Best Christmas Movies (Part 1)

Happy Wednesday, or, as I like to call it by its quick n’ easy nickname: Happy Christmas Eve’s Eve! Just a few days left to prep for all the celebrations. Or rather, just a few days left to panic and succumb to your anxieties about what you’ve forgotten and who you might have inadvertently omitted from your shopping list. But fear not: if Gift Certificates & Gift Cards aren’t the ultimate People’s Choice Holiday Gift idea, I don’t know what is. I mean really, who doesn’t love them? Wouldn’t a Gift Card get your vote? In TV news…Did everyone watch Diane Sawyer’s ABC News Anchor(ess) debut? If so, what did you think? We got lots of feedback on yesterday’s poll, and condolences have been pouring in from around the world on behalf of the late actress Brittany Murphy, who passed away Sunday. The medical investigation is ongoing, and doctors expect to have complete autopsy results on the 32-year old star within a few weeks. In music news, we told you about Carrie Underwood’s engagement but here’s the latest tidbit: according to the Diamond Information Center the rock given Carrie by her hockey player fiance “is estimated to be a five-plus carat brilliant round diamond with diamond sidestones, worth over $150,000.” Well, Merry Christmas to these lovebirds. Speaking of Christmas, let’s take a peek at various holiday films to see which ones you like the most. Or loved. Now since there are so many popular movies, this will be a two-part poll. Thus without any further ado, please voice your choice in today’s featured poll and let us know which of these holiday movies is your favorite.

a) Elf

b) Miracle on 34th Street

c) A Christmas Story

d) Scrooged

Miracle on 34th St is a classic and timeless. But for a current movie I say “Elf” because it is so funny and such a “Feel Good” movie.
