It’s Tuesday, and this means of course new DVD’s and new music get released. And when do we know the holidays are fast approaching?  When we get not one, not two, but three very popular movies available on DVD in one single pre-Christmas week.  Take a look at this week’s offerings: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Julie & Julia and Public Enemies.  Big, big movies with huge stars that made money and entertained a great many moviegoers — hence the belief that they’ll also make excellent gifts. In music, we also have new records out from Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, 30 Seconds to Mars, Jimmy Buffett and the cast of Glee. Now let’s talk about the People’s Choice Awards, which are headed our way January 6th. Did you vote? Today we’re on the favorite movie actresses category, and yesterday’s poll on Drew Barrymore drew lots of comments, plus according to the feedback I may have been quite remiss in neglecting to put 50 First Dates in Drew’s movie poll. Today let’s look at another leading lady, star of TV and the big screen — and the tabloids too –  Jennifer Aniston.  When she came on the scene with Friends there was no end to her charm, and I’ll bet you know more than one person who marched into a salon asking for her haircut.  Then she made the transition to film, which is often difficult and many a TV star returns quietly to the little screen, never to be seen at the cineplex again.  Not our Jen.  The former Mrs. Brad Pitt has enjoyed success on all media. So now, with this in mind, voice your choice in today’s featured poll and let us know which Jennifer Aniston movie is your favorite.

1) Office Space

2) Along Came Polly

3) Marley & Me

4) The Break-Up
