Today’s the day! Get ready for the big news as we reveal the NOMINEES for the 2010 People’s Choice Awards! And of course, that’s “revealing” courtesy of special guests Jeff Probst, Sofia Vergara, Cat Deeley, and Kris Allen. I’ll be tweeting from the event so stay tuned and you’ll know as soon as we know just who’s headed for January’s big show.
In regular TV news (as opposed to DWTS news – it is Tuesday, after all), we have good news if you’re a fan of The Forgotten (that’s the new Christian Slater drama). It seems ABC hasn’t forgotten about this rookie show and they’ve gone ahead and ordered more episodes. Unfortunately, they didn’t grant the same wish for Eastwick, starring Rebecca Romijn, and so the future of that one looks pretty bleak. Now, on to Dancing With The Stars because the fact is, as our celebrity hoofer field gets thinner, the plot gets thicker. There are just 5 couples left, and tonight one of them won’t exactly be kicking up their heels. Last night, Mya and Dmitry triumphed with 59 points out of 60 for their two dances. For that reason, we’re not going to put her in today’s poll as a possible vote-off. But as we get down to the wire, who’s going home? I don’t understand why EASTWICK was removed from voting. Three Rivers is still on there and no new shows were ordered for it either. It should have the same chance!

I know Hank was cancelled, don’t understand why ABC hardly promoted the show & cancelled it without even giving it a chance. Put it in a better timeslot & it would do great. Each show got better & better.
I voted for it yesterday on People’s Choice & today it is gone??!! Just because it is cancelled, doesn’t mean that the fans that loved it shouldn’t have a chance to prove ABC wrong & be able to vote for our favorite new comedy!!

What other male artist has had an impact this year? Hmmm. Well, how about David Cook? What about David Cook? He’s been touring for his new platinum CD, promoting his songs that also made platinum, and helping to raise money for several charities, and is still my favorite AI. I hope he’s nominated for several categories because he deserves it a lot more than some of the others who have already been nominated, like Adam. Adam came in second on AI, but what else has he DONE to deserve any nomination?
I hope Adam Lambert is a nominee and by the time the awards take place Adam will have had a album released ‘For Your Entertainment’, two singles ‘Time For Miracles’ and ‘For Your Entertainment’, one if not two videos for the two singles, plus all the songs from American Idol on itunes. Can you say the same for any of the other nominees? Also, since when is there any criteria for the nominees that state you have to had an album out in the last year. Why can’t it be based on performances during that year and the impact of the artist? What other male artist has made such an impact this year?
