Everyone seems to be in agreement that Kanye West didn’t do himself any favors on Sunday night during the VMA’s by boldly (and I think rudely) interrupting Taylor Swift’s award win. But, did Kanye do Jay Leno a HUGE favor by agreeing to show up during the premiere of Jay’s brand new 10 PM show? Kanye stopped by Leno and publicly apologized for the VMA bouhaha. Which naturally makes me wonder, how would Leno’s kickoff have gone without this juicy bit of guest contrition?
Did you all watch Leno? And what did you think of Jay’s second night? (With Tom Cruise, filmmaker Michael Moore, Cameron Diaz, comedian Jim Norton… and still more comedy). Putting Jay on at 10 P M is considered a risky move….and his first night scored very well with viewers and about a zillion of them tuned in. So what I’m wondering is

I do not think Jay needs Kanye. He would have done much better without him. I will watch Jay but not with Kanye on.
I was going to watch Jay Leno but because that jerk Kanye West was on I decided not to watch. Reguardless how he felt he should not of picked on the winner, he must’ve felt like a really big man picking on that poor teenage girl. Something she worked very hard for was takin away in a second.

I was very excited about Jay’s premier show. When I heard that Kanye West would appear, I was so disappointed I almost turned off my tv. Then decided I would see what he had to say. What a waste of good air time! Certainly network officials will see to it that this man does is not allowed to attend these events. Certainly he deserves no awards. I am concerned that he will get off scot free from this disgraceful attempt at self-exhibition.
