Out of this Universe?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Today we’re going to talk about a beauty pageant. But first, if you went to the movies, let us know what you saw and what you liked. I saw (the very good) “Inglourious Basterds” which brought in quite an impressive $37.6 million bucks at the box office, and that’s nothing to sneeze at. Moving along, if you caught Miss Universe Pageant with Donald Trump, among others, you know that the crown went again to Miss Venezuela. Second year in a row. This year the lucky lass was one Stefania Fernandez. Asked to characterize the event, the typically media -shy Trump told the press that “this is the most beautiful group of women I’ve ever seen”. Also noteworthy is the fact that “The Hills” star Heidi Montag (or shall we call her Mrs. Spencer Pratt) appeared and made her LIVE music debut with “Body Language”– a track from her new album. So now let’s get to the voting — specifically YOUR votes…because Miss Universe is over and the tiaras are all perched atop pretty young heads…but do you think they’re where they should be? Of the top four ladies competing for Miss Universe, who do you think should have brought home the crown? Voice your choice in today’s featured poll (and while you’re at it, feel free to comment on Heidi’s singing).

1) Miss Venezuela – Stefania Fernandez
2) Miss Dominican Republic – Ada Aimee De La Cruz
3) Miss Kosovo – Drogo Ganusha
4) Miss Australia – Rachel Finch
