In the current issue of Entertainment Weekly, the magazine’s editors rank the 20 Greatest Vampires of the popular culture. Although I have previously admitted in this blog that my entertainment tastes tend to mirror those of a teenage girl, I have to confess that I have yet to embrace the vampire phenomenon. If that makes you want to drive a stake through my heart, I understand. Clearly, I’m in the minority for not having hopped on the vampire bandwagon.
But our daily featured polls aren’t about my tastes, they’re about yours. So tell me about your favorite bloodsuckers. The following vampires made EW’s top ten:
Angel in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff, Angel (played by David Boreanaz.)
Lestat in Interview With the Vampire (based on Anne Rice’s novel, played by Tom Cruise in the film.)
Edward Cullen in Twilight (based on Stephenie Meyer’s novel, played by Robert Pattinson in the film.)
Whose fangs would you like to gnaw on your neck? Voice your choice in today’s featured poll. And let the bloody debate begin.

David Boreanaz, Robert Pattinson, and Tom Cruise

Wonderful! I really did not think about this topic before from your point of view. But now I am thinking about your idea. I’ve also discussed with my friends about your post.
Just when I thought there was nothing else I could learn…you go and fill these paragraphs with insightful ideas. Thanks very much for a job well done…
Bela Lugosi smokes all of these wannabes.
I am a 60 year lady, my choice up to now , would have to be “Angel”, but after the new ” Dark Shadows” movie with Johnny Depp comes out there would be no “sexy Vampire” to compare……..
