Star Wars: In Concert

A concert version of Star Wars which premiered in London last April is coming to North American in October. Narrated by the actor who played C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), the multi-media event includes a live symphony orchestra, film montages edited by Lucasfilm folks, and an exhibit that features costumes and props from all six Star Wars films.

This latest incarnation of our culture’s non-stop thirst for all things Star Wars got me thinking about the magic of the first trilogy which came out in 1977, 1980 and 1983.

Tickets for Star Wars: In Concert go on sale August 1st. The tour kicks off in Anaheim, California, on October 1st and will play about 40 dates across the U.S. and Canada.
