Tuc Watkins, The Sentimentalist

Whether performing on daytime, prime time or online, Tuc Watkins always brings the funny. Check out his brilliant satire, The Sentimentalist, at Funny or Die:

.

Daytime TV fans know Tuc as David Vickers from One Life to Live, while prime time viewers catch him on Sunday nights as Bob Hunter — half of Wisteria Lane’s gay couple — on ABC’s Desperate Housewives. But you’ve got to watch his turn as Jacob Barone in the hilarious online “trailer” for The Sentimentalist to really appreciate the man’s talents. Watkins plays a police officer who follows his feelings instead of clues, opting for hugs and puppies over nabbing the bad guys. That task is left to his partner, played by Watkins’ real life childhood pal, the brilliant Brooke Dillman (Blue Collar TV, Superbad.)

I don’t want to give too much away. Just promise me you’ll click on the link above. It’ll be the best three and a half minutes you spend today.
