I saw The Proposal over the weekend and was thrilled to see Sandra Bullock back on the big screen in all of her comic glory. She looks amazing! The 45 year old actress hasn’t aged a bit and her physical comedy skills are better than ever.
One of the highlights of the movie is her chemistry with co-star Ryan Reynolds. Entertainment Weekly named Reynolds as their “new favorite leading man” on the cover of their Summer Must List double issue, on newsstands new, and I must agree. And if you didn’t already consider Betty White to be an American treasure, you will after you see The Proposal.
But back to Sandra. The four-time People’s Choice Award winner will be back at the multiplex in September in the comedy All About Steve, co-starring Bradley Cooper and Thomas Hayden Church. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, you’ve got to check it out at http://www.allaboutstevemovie.com. And while you’re at it, voice your choice in today’s featured poll about which of Sandra’s classic starring roles in romantic comedies is your favorite. I’m off to add While You Were Sleeping, Miss Congeniality and Two Weeks Notice to my Netflix queue.
