People Magazine’s annual list of hottest bachelors hits newsstands today, with Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford gracing the cover. I never considered unmarried 23 year olds like Crawford to be true bachelors –isn’t that a title they give older single guys, like 48 year old George Clooney, for example, or me? I’m not saying that Chace isn’t easy on the eyes, I’m just saying that 23 year olds shouldn’t be thinking about marriage and, therefore, shouldn’t be considered true bachelors. Anwyay…

Since a twenty-one year old is considered to be an adult, at twenty-three, Crawford is hardly a kid. Some people still marry in their late teens, so Crawford definitely is a bachelor by the official sense of the word.
