Glee debuts on FOX

The cast of Glee

The cast of Glee

Please tell me that you stayed tuned to FOX after the final American Idol showdown last night to check out Glee, the latest from Executive Producer Ryan Murphy. Why? It’s simple. Glee is the BEST. SHOW. EVER. I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for a good high school yarn. Murphy’s short-lived Popular remains one of my all time favorites, and I’m still loyal to Gossip Girl and 90210 (both versions.) But Glee is something really special.

Broadway stars Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele are part of an ensemble cast that includes the wickedly funny Jane Lynch and the always delightful Jessalyn Gilsig. If you didn’t get catch it last night, get thee to Hulu and watch it immediately. And then voice your choice in today’s featured poll about which character is your favorite. I can’t believe we have to wait until fall for episode two.

I watched American Idol for the first time last night. Why? Because I didn’t want to miss Glee. The minute I found out Jane Lynch was on it, I had to see it. I am a huge fan of Best In Show et al., and if she’s in it, it’s going to be good.

I thought this was the best television I had seen in a long time! I am a fan of The Office and Ugly Betty, and I totally ‘get’ the whole point and humor of this new series.

    It’s my new favorite!!!
