Conan O'Brien, new host of NBC's The Tonight Show starting June 1st

Conan O’Brien announced his first guests for when he takes over the Tonight Show on June 1st: Land of the Lost star Will Ferrell will be on the couch and Pearl Jam will be the musical guests. I have to confess that I’m not a late night talk show guy. If I’m up watching TV past 11:00 p.m., I’m usually checking out something that my DVR recorded earlier that day. But I’m very curious to see how O’Brien will fill Jay Leno’s shoes.

Conan himself is an affable guy, Will Ferrell makes me laugh before he even opens his mouth, and Pearl Jam has been one of my favorite bands since Ten was released eighteen years ago. Curiosity will have me tuning in on June 1st; what happens after that remains to be seen. Who is most likely to get you to watch Conan as the new host of the Tonight Show? Well there is NO amount of money ( under half a million) that would get me to watch Conan. I cannot stand the guy!!

Only way I’d EVER watch him is if he has Craig Ferguson on as a guest. I would watch Craig read a phone book or just stand there& look into the camera, but Conan— NEVER EVER!
