Remember when Hugh won for himself and everyone stood up? It seems He’s just won again. Do you gusy think its deserved? I certainly like he show but I must say that I certainly like Grey’s and I’ve not seen a lot of CSI (too scary) so …anyone wanna weigh in on the House victory? I mean Hugh Laurie is certainly compelling. But I do cry during Grey’s a lot. For example, the great Chandra Wilson just got up and started talking about helping people. I got all misty. So did the right show win?

Hugh Laurie is a brillant actor I love to watch him,I can’t stand to miss his show. He plays House so well and only he could make it work. I love the cast to, but Hugh your the greatest actor I’ve seen in along time. You and Johnny Depp will always have my vote!!!

Gotta say, yeah he DOES deserve it. I can’t deny there are other good shows too (I watch Grey’s aswell), but there’s no room for doubt … Hugh Laurie’s perfomance it’s way too impressive, kinda blows my mind.

i love GREYS with all my heart and it is by far my favorite show. the Denny thing was getting a little old but i still think they should have won. along with Patrick Dempsey.i agree with Maddie when she says Ellen Pompeo should win more awards (especially for the scene in the beginning of the season 5 premier)
but all of that said, i love house and Hugh so im happy they won over CSI.

I just recently “discovered” HOUSE and I am totally hooked! Unfortunately, it seems when I like something, it disappears from the face of the earth. I am so, so happy that both HOUSE and Hugh Laurie won. I’m hoping my years of being a “jinx” have ended.
Congratulations to Hugh Laurie and the entire HOUSE cast and crew! The honors are richly deserved. Keep up the good work. And here’s hoping for a “ditto” at the Golden Globes and the Emmys!
Also – Dempsey has NOTHING on Laurie. And House is the most watched show on primetime after American Idol and Dancing with the Stars.
House definitely deserved that, as did Hugh. The only reason anyone would think that Grey’s should win over House is because they are too simple to understand the wittiness and intelligence in House. House IS the best. Hands down.

@ EitherWay: CSI’s not particularly educational, coming from a microbio major. It’s a great drama and truly deserved this award (my favourite season in a while). Very disappointing.
Grey’s is nothing compared to House. House is clever, well written and interesting. Greys’s is just some boring drama.
But I would have liked to see Bones nominated. It’s a good show that doesn’t get very much credit. But Congrats to House!

umm are you stupid (whoever is writing this blog)? Grey’s Anatomy is a terrible show… It has been for the past few seasons. It’s nothing but a badly written soap with bad acting from at least half its cast.
House has been on its top game for 5 years. Brilliant writing and acting keeps the show sharp. It’s one of the best TV shows and probably the best broadcast TV Drama.
House totally deserves that award. It’s the best show on TV right now. Both the writing and the acting are fantastic. Hugh Laurie is an amazing actor. I’m so glad they won. Yay! =D
I like House but I think it is a bit overrated. CSI has been a fantastic show in its entire television run and I truly thought it deserved the award. Grey’s has also become a very good show in its own right.
I was extremely disappointed that NCIS was not even nominated. It kicks House’s butt in ratings and show quality. It should have been nominated AND won the award.

Hooray for Hugh Laurie and the entire cast of House for the wins. The show is amazing and always has been. It is the best written and acted show on tv. I would rather watch a hundred reruns of House than watch most anything new on tv. Go House, next award the Golden Globes.

One more comment….you know a show is great when you can watch it more than once and still be amused…that is House.
House won because the showing is so interesting and keeps you on your edge of your seat all the time and Hugh Laurie and those dimples gets you every time. Also, Greys Anatomy and CSI have all won before give House and the cast there well deserved award.
Woot woot! House won!!! It is my favorite show although I also love CSI. Hugh Laurie rocks though! He is amazing at his American accent on the show along with his hysterical sarcasm and dry humor. The show’s depth is much greater than CSI in many cases as with the psychological confusion of Dr. House. CSI’s serial killer episodes are great, though. haha. twisted, yes, but amusing.
House and Hugh, well-deserved, well-done. Best writing on TV, best acting on TV. Nuff said.

I have to agree with both Hugh and House wins. It is such a well-written, well-concieved show and Hugh plays House so amazingly…they both deserve much recognition
House has way better storylines and they are actually educational. The characters are also better written.I do watch Greys too but of they were on at the same time House would be on my TV. I haven’t watch CSI in years.

Yeah… Grey’s should have won! GRRRR! It gets more ratings than house, which… begs the question… if more people watch it and love it… why doesn’t it win? It’s like Ellen Pompeo has a load of fans… yet she’s only been nominated for an award once.

Love all 3 shows…. however, grey’s denny storyline this year is too out there, and csi writing this year has had me glaze over at times. House has been consistently engaging for me this year so I’m good with them winning.

CSI IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish it would have won. It is very interesting with a twist of romance and some comedy now and then. I have watched it since it started and I think HOUSE is good but nothing compares to CSI. You really should try it. Go Marg Helgenberger!!! lol
House was brilliant in its first 3 seasons, but the last 2 seasons have not been as good IMO. But it’s still better than so much other stuff on tv (personally I loathe Grey’s Anatomy with every single fiber of my being, and I find CSI icky). But no, House is not as good now as it once was, though the ironic thing is that it seems to be getting more attention now than back when it was a better show.
