Sharon. Just to clear things up, it wasn’t Simon Cowell who “picked” her, it was America who did that. Anyone with a clue knew that she was, by a long shot, the best contestant that idol had ever seen. She is now, and forever will be the face of American Idol. There’ll never be another “Carrie” on that show, or anywhere else for that matter.

Fantastic job Carrie, as usual.

Carrie remains the most gorgeous, talented and kindest person in the industry. She so very deserved the honor of the night and what a performance. This girl can sing like no other. Have been to her concerts and am amazed at what she’s done. Simon Cowell sure can pick them. Carrie is a true “American Idol” and we wish her nothing but the best in her life. What a gorgeous person inside and out!!

yeah, I Know You Won’t is on her Carnival Ride album, and “I Told You So” is the Randy Travis song that will be her next single.

Hey everyone…a Carrie fan here and just wanted to make a couple corrections so everyone has the right info.

Tricia – Carrie may have said the song wasn’t sung on a show before (it hasn’t been), but it has been recorded – on her Carnival Ride CD.

Phyllis – This is not the Randy Travis song. The song she sang tonight was I Know You Won’t. Her next single, which was written and sung by Randy, is I Told You So.

For all of you who loved this song…. it was sung by Randy Travis and he absolutely loves Carry. Surprized her with the announcement that she was inducted into the GrandOleOpry.
Anyway this is her next single and should be released shortly.
